Gold perma-bear Goldman Sach's commodities analyst Jeff Currie is not only bullish on gold, but he is advising clients to buy physical gold, not ETF's or COMEX futures contrasts. I almost fell out of my chair when I read this.
This captured analyst has never dispensed this advice--ever, as far as I can remember. In fact, he was mocking gold bugs for years for giving the same advice. Why the flip flop? I believe Goldman Sachs is now talking their book and looking to drive precious metals prices higher now that they are positioned for it.
Talk prices down, scoop up physical gold at low prices. Then talk prices up, once correctly positioned long.

More Fallout - Crushing JPM Gold & Silver Whistleblower News
Michael Pento always calls it as it is, which is why he is no longer a regular guest on Bloomberg News or CNBC. Mainstream financial media outlets only want cheerleaders and Wall Street charletans.

Presidential Memorandum, 11-21-12
“Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in government is an existing government employee committed to public integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should be encouraged rather than stifled as they have been during the Bush administration. We need to empower federal employees as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistle-blower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud and abuse of authority in government.” -- Obama campaign's Document for Change, 2008http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/11/21/presidential-memorandum-national-insider-threat-policy-and-minimum-stand
MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES
SUBJECT: National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards for Executive Branch Insider Threat Programs
This Presidential Memorandum transmits the National Insider Threat Policy and Minimum Standards for Executive Branch Insider Threat Programs (Minimum Standards) to provide direction and guidance to promote the development of effective insider threat programs within departments and agencies to deter, detect, and mitigate actions by employees who may represent a threat to national security. These threats encompass potential espionage, violent acts against the Government or the Nation, and unauthorized disclosure of classified information, including the vast amounts of classified data available on interconnected United States Government computer networks and systems.
The Minimum Standards provide departments and agencies with the minimum elements necessary to establish effective insider threat programs. These elements include the capability to gather, integrate, and centrally analyze and respond to key threat-related information; monitor employee use of classified networks; provide the workforce with insider threat awareness training; and protect the civil liberties and privacy of all personnel.
The resulting insider threat capabilities will strengthen the protection of classified information across the executive branch and reinforce our defenses against both adversaries and insiders who misuse their access and endanger our national security.BARACK OBAMA

Madoff Whistleblower Tells KWN Banks Stealing From Pensions
This is what happens when you put the dumbest guys in the same room (e.g. pension fund managers) as the biggest sharks in the room (e.g. investment bankers). The sharks have used the opacity of markets to surreptitiously steal from the retirement funds. The concept of "free" markets on Wall Street is fictitious.

Hit and Run--coincidence?
I blogged about a London whistleblower accusing JPMorgan traders of manipulating the silver market a couple days ago here:
A day after the story ran, the whistleblower was a victim of a hit-and-run incident.

Silver manipulation in progress
A whistleblower gave advance warning to the CFTC, the regulatory body which watchdogs the futures markets, about an illegal manipulation scheme about to take place in the silver market at the COMEX exchange. The price action behaved exactly as scripted on the target date, February 5, 2010, when non-farm payroll numbers were released at 8:30 AM ET. Within a few minutes, the price of silver then experienced a waterfall decline.
When allegedly free markets are that predictable with that much precision, then they are no longer free--rather they are rigged.
Read the series of emails chronicling the correspondence between whistleblower Andrew Maguire and the shiftless CFTC regulator.
