This macro hedge fund manager provides prescient insight on the demise of the petrodollar, but doesn't go far enough in providing financial solutions in a geopolitical environment of reduced US influence in financial markets. Shorting the USDollar is one investment theme. Going long precious metals among other commodities are another.

This Is What The Coming "Bond Shock" Will Look Like
The pertinent message is if bond yields rise 1%, the debt load in the US alone increases $2.4 trillion. Globally, bond losses would be $8 trillion.
So despite raising rates being the right thing to prevent a bond shock and global market bubbles from melting down, the Fed and other central banks cannot afford to "normalize" yields back to 5-6%.
The Fed is trapped, and it's merely a waiting game for some black swan(2) to roil all markets.

Annihilation of U.S. Dollar Coming-Jim Sinclair
Let me de-brief you on Jim Sinclair's track record. He predicted gold would soar above $850 in the 1970's, when it was fixed at $35. He sold at the 1980 absolute top--to the day, at $875.
When gold was languishing below $300 a decade ago, he predicted gold would reach $1650. In 2011, gold reached a peak of $1923. With gold in the low $1300's recently, he is forecasting price targets of $3,500--and $50,000.
I hope he is wrong. But over the last four decades, he hasn't been.

Sinclair predicts, by 2016, “Gold will be $3,200 to $3,500 an ounce.” By 2020, Sinclair predicts, “Emancipated gold will be $50,000 per ounce.”

Why Another Great Real Estate Crash Is Coming
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/why-another-great-real-estate-crash-is-coming
We were originally told that the GDP growth number for the first quarter of 2013 was 2.4 percent. Then it was revised down to 1.8 percent. Now it has been revised down to 1.1 percent.
So precisely what are we supposed to believe?
Overall, since Barack Obama has been president the average yearly rate of growth for the U.S. economy has been just over 1 percent.
That isn't very good at all.
But remember, the government numbers have been heavily manipulated to look good.
The reality is even worse.
